A top Korean flagship national university and Asia’s premier comprehensive institution of higher education, Pusan National University (PNU) has been a leader in research and teaching since its establishment in May 1946. The university has four campuses in Busan and Gyeongnam area, and has two university hospitals providing high-quality medical services to the local community.

PNU is the first national university in Korea and has offered educational opportunities in almost all disciplines and supports the needs of quality higher education in the southeastern region of the country. With a faculty strength of over 2,300 members, the university offers competitive curriculum social sciences, humanities, natural science, engineering, and medicine including 115 majors at the undergraduate level and 215 majors at the graduate level to more than 36,000 students.
