APRU has recently launched its Asia-Pacific Women in Leadership (APWiL) Network group on LinkedIn. The APRU APWiL Network aims to create a discussion platform for sharing of best practices in enhancing the institutional competitiveness of APRU universities and advancing the participation of women in academia and research. The network also aims to build a supportive community among policy/decision makers, experts, advocates and practitioners in the areas of leadership and policy development in bridging the gender gap in higher education.
In our objective to expand APWiL’s outreach, we invite interested faculty, researchers and staff to join our community at http://www.linkedin.com/groups?home=&gid=6623515&trk=anet_ug_hm.
Members will have the opportunity to share their ideas and engage in discussions on ongoing initiatives and relevant policy issues among others. In addition, resource materials and other relevant information will also be shared with members via the online network.
