Seoul National University was established in 1946. Seoul National University honors the ideals of liberal education and aims to teach students a lifelong love of learning that will form the basis for continuous personal growth. As of 2021, the university has around 28,000 students and 5,400 faculty members across 15 colleges with 85 departments for undergraduates, one graduate school (with 213 programs) and 12 professional graduate schools.
