Introduction:

Scaling up climate solutions is increasingly about smoothing the paths for adoption and making sure that all people share in the benefits. Much of this work needs to happen locally within cities, states, and countries across the world. Local action around climate solutions can open the road to solving climate change over the next decade.

Together let us identify meaningful locally oriented and fair solutions worldwide.

On the 30th of March 2022, this program helps to focus the world on what we can all do to lead the change for our shared future. The Worldwide Teach-In is a project of the Graduate Programs in Sustainability at Bard College in New York, USA, and Open Society University Network, with partners worldwide including the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU). Universiti Malaya (UM) is a long-standing member of APRU.

Main goal:

Joining other campuses around the world, UM will organize an engaging dialogue with stakeholders and the faith community on this year’s theme of “climate and justice”.

Target audience:

Public and private sectors, think-tank community, NGOs, academicians, researchers, staff and students of academic sectors (colleges, universities, schools), and the public at large.
